Erica Farrel
Physiotherapist/Owner
Erica’s Background
Erica brings 20+ years of experience in working with children of all ages. Born and raised in England, Erica emigrated to Canada in 1988 and worked for many years for the Grande Prairie Public School District with their special needs population. Erica has also worked for private pediatric clinics in Grande Prairie and in Abbotsford and for the Chilliwack School District.
Erica’s Approach & Philosophy
Erica moved to the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island in July 2014 and started a private practice designed to meet the needs of children with disabilities in the surrounding area. Erica believes that the key to success when working with children is to engage them through fun and play. Therapy sessions are generally provided right in the child’s own home and involve games and activities designed to meet the family’s goals for their child. Therapy can also be provided on the playground or at the local swimming pool!
