Child’s Play Physiotherapy is seeking physiotherapists to join our team. Since starting this practice in the Comox Valley in 2014 Child’s Play has seen a steady increase in the client base and now requires a part-time, building to full-time contract physiotherapist starting as soon as possible.
Child’s Play Physiotherapy offers Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services in the Comox Valley and surrounding areas. We are passionate about what we do and have a commitment to making our therapy sessions fun and engaging for our clients (our name says it all). We provide services in clients’ homes, at the pool, on the playground, or wherever is most convenient/appropriate for our families and clients.
We have built an excellent reputation in the local pediatric community and have built strong partnerships with the local school district therapy teams, and the Child Development Association. Parent word-of-mouth is one of our favourite ways to receive new referrals. Last year we were very proud to be nominated for a Chamber of Commerce New Business of the Year Award. Our Facebook page is very active, providing interesting articles and videos for parents and therapists.
Our current physiotherapist has over 20 years of experience working in pediatrics in both the public and private sector, and is happy to provide ongoing mentorship and support to the successful applicant. The Comox Valley is a wonderful place to raise your family (or to move to towards the end of a career as you start planning where you might like to retire).
The ideal candidate has at least two years pediatric experience and is able to work on their own (though support is always available as required). The applicant must be available for peak time: afternoons – although you will be able to set your own schedule to fit the needs of you and your clients.
